Nico, as Head Coach, took his star-studded Texas Chargers to the final of the inaugural edition of the US Masters T10 competition where they got the better of New York Warriors in a thrilling one-over eliminator in the Final, on Sunday 27 August 2023. Nico has been announced as the Head Coach of Texas Chargers, who will play in the US Master T10 League. The league will see 6 Teams competing in the new fastest Cricket format. The thrilling 10-over format matches will have legendary cricketers who have retired from the international format but also as well as young stars who will begin their careers in the sport. Paul lands coaching role in Abu Dhabi T10 League


Paul has landed a coaching role with one of the sides in this year’s Abu Dhabi T10. The former England wicketkeeper will be batting and fielding coach with Bangla Tigers for the forthcoming tournament. Nixon, who is Leicestershire’s head coach, will bring his wealth of limited-overs experience to the Tigers franchise in the contest held at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. Paul Recieves England Cap


Paul recently received a proper England Cap at a dinner at Lords on 21st February. 199 is Paul’s official England Players number and 22 means he is the 22nd person to play T20 for England.

Paul invited to play against Leprechauns CC in Wicklow, Ireland by Peter Savill


Paul was recently invited to play as part of an invitation XI for Peter Savill, who has created one of the most amazing Cricket grounds in his back garden in Wicklow south of Dublin. The invitation XI played against the Leprechauns Cricket club, a travelling team who love the game. The match followed the next morning with a stunning round of golf on a nearby course.

The former Leicestershire and England wicketkeeper has a group of 15 teenagers working towards an NVQ in sports coaching, with the group having just returned from Valencia and a stint of learning about coaching Spanish-style. Paul Takes on Ambassadorial Role


Paul Nixon has become an ambassador for Dorothy Goodman School in Hinckley, Leicestershire; a role that will see the former England wicket keeper promote inclusive sport for children with disabilities. Paul takes up the role alongside Leicester City Football Club striker Jamie Vardy, who will also act as an ambassador for the school. “It is massively important to encourage all children to be involved in sport,” Paul said. “Having dyslexia myself, this is something very close to my heart. Nico Joins Stars for Rwanda Cricket Stadium Foundation


Paul Nixon joined some of the stars of world cricket to help raise funds for the Rwanda Cricket Stadium Foundation (RSCF), in a charity game that raised an incredible £50,000. Paul turned out for a Brian Lara XI, which took on a Warwickshire 1994 All Star at the picturesque Wormsley Cricket Ground, with his team-mates included batting superstar Lara, Matthew Hoggard, Andrew Strauss and England women’s vice-captain Heather Knight.
